Who you are dealing with

Neuronplex is a company registered in Singapore, and it is Neuronplex you contract with when you subscribe to any of our apps. Questions, including about a payment, go to [email protected].

Each app has its own terms

Prices, what an app promises and what it does not, and how a particular subscription works are set out per app, in that app's own terms. This page covers what is true across all of them, and the app's own terms govern where the two differ.

Subscriptions and payment

• Payment is taken through Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's pages and never reach us.
• A subscription renews automatically until it is cancelled. We do not send a reminder before each renewal, so the price and the interval are stated plainly before you pay and again on your receipt.
• You can cancel at any time, from within the app. Cancelling stops the next payment. It does not cut off the rest of the period you have already paid for.
• Every Neuronplex app is billed by the same company, so your card statement shows a Neuronplex descriptor rather than the app's name on its own. If a charge is not one you recognise, write to us before disputing it and we will tell you what it was.

If the payer is not the learner

Several of our apps are used by people under 18, who cannot enter into a contract in Singapore. Where that is the case the subscriber is an adult, and it is the adult who agrees to these terms, manages the payment and can end it.

The learning account still belongs to the learner. The contract and the account are deliberately separate things.

Refunds

If something we built did not work, or you were charged for something you did not intend, write to [email protected] and tell us what happened. We look at each case on its own facts and put right what was our mistake.

Cancelling stops the next payment rather than refunding the current one. You keep access for the rest of the period you have already paid for, so nothing you have paid for is lost by cancelling early.

What we do not promise

Our apps help a learner practise. They are not a tutor, not a teacher, and not a guarantee of a grade. Where an app uses a language model to read handwriting or to phrase a hint, it can be wrong, and the apps are built so that a person can correct it.

Ending it

You can stop at any time by cancelling and, if you want, deleting the account. We may end an account that is being used to abuse the service or another person, and we will say why.

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
